Il settore audiovisivo in Grecia, in Italia e in tutta Europa presenta notevoli disparità di genere, in particolare nei ruoli tecnici e di produzione. Secondo i dati dell’Osservatorio Europeo dell’Audiovisivo (2023-2024), le donne rimangono sottorappresentate nei ruoli chiave della produzione cinematografica e televisiva. Questo progetto andrà a integrare lo studio “Women’s Voices in the Audiovisual Sector: Exploring Experiences in Film and Television” non solo per documentare le disparità di genere, ma anche per creare percorsi professionali concreti che consentano alle donne di migliorare la propria posizione professionale e costruire carriere sostenibili.
The audiovisual sector in Greece, Italy and across Europe exhibits significant gender disparities, particularly in technical and production roles. According to data from the European Audiovisual Observatory (2023-2024), women remain underrepresented in key production roles in cinema and television. This project will complement the study “Women’s Voices in the Audiovisual Sector: Exploring Experiences in Film and Television” to not only document gender disparities but also create tangible vocational pathways for women to enhance their professional status and establish sustainable careers.
